New playground at King Square nursery

Toddlers at King Square Nursery can play outdoors all summer long thanks to their new playground funded by EC1 New Deal for Communities.

The £79,000 new outdoor play space includes a big slide, climbing structure and a sandpit.

Deputy Manager Tonia O’Connor said:

“The children love it. Most of them don’t have any outside space at home, so this is probably the only garden they get to play in. As well as being lots of fun, the garden it is much safer now because it is more enclosed.”
