EC1 New Deal for Communities is proud to be a joint sponsor of the festival along with Tesco Express.
Organised by St Luke's Trust the festival will celebrate all aspects of the arts with workshops, exhibitions, film, comedy, dance, music and author appearances.
Martyn Craddock, Chief Executive of St Luke’s said:
“This is an exciting event for the local area, with a programme that really does offer something for everyone. You can try out your own artistic skills as well as enjoying the work of the experts. The festival will bring colour and creativity to Finsbury, and best of all, it’s nearly all free.”
The programme includes an Italian film night, a talk from renowned poet John Hegley, a comedy night with Tony Law and Simon Munnery and performances from London Symphony Orchestra’s String Duet, St Luke’s Street Dance and Drama Clubs, Clerkenwell School of Ballet, Time Bank Poetry Group and the EC1 Music Project. The festival will finish on Sunday with a morning drumming session, a tea dance in the afternoon followed by a barn dance in the evening.
