Christmas comes early to EC1
EC1 resident Jean Grout with her Christmas wreath. EC1 was filled with festive cheer on Saturday when hundreds of residents flocked to the St Luke’s Centre Christmas Fayre.
As well as arts and crafts and street dancing, there was live music from Mamadi & Basha and Father Christmas flew in for some pre-Christmas present giving.
EC1 New Deal for Communities’ Environmental Outreach Officers, Heather Stabler and Matthew Loveday ran the Christmas wreaths and tree decoration making table, which was popular with visitors of all ages.
The festivities were organised by the St Luke’s Centre, St Luke’s Time Bank and EC1 New Deal for Communities.
