Potty for plant pot painting

EC1 New Deal for Communities’ (NDC) monthly gardening club session stayed indoors this month with plant pot painting at the St Luke’s Centre, Central Street.

Those who took part painted pots in bright colours and took them home along with an indoor pot plant to put in it. The session was run by EC1 NDC Environmental Outreach Officer Heather Stabler.

Next month at the EC1 NDC gardening club, residents can learn how to sow salad seeds which will grow well on windowsills. Come along on Wednesday 26 March to the St Luke’s Centre. The sessions are free and open to everyone living in the EC1 NDC area.

For keen, green-fingered residents, a community gardening session is held at Quaker Gardens on the first Sunday afternoon of each month.
